ICE Camp for Educators

(Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship)

August 14 and 21, 2021

Join us in this two-day camp, educators will learn and practice the creative mindset, the innovation process, and the entrepreneurial spirit. The camp will equip the participants with tools and techniques that they can share with their own students, clients, and companies.

The Entrepreneurship Educators’ Association of the Philippines, Inc. (ENEDA) and CIA Bootleg present ICE Camp for Educators (Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship).

In this two-day camp, educators will learn and practice the creative mindset, the innovation process, and the entrepreneurial spirit. The camp will equip the participants with tools and techniques that they can share with their own students, clients, and companies. Mr, Aaron A. Palileo, management educator and consultant, will train us in meeting the learning objective of this course. This will be held on August 14 and 21, 2021.

DAY 1

INTRODUCTION

10:30 to 12:00

  • The 3Ps of Creativity: The Creative Product, The Creative Process (Innovation), The Creative Person (The Entrepreneur).
  • The Creative Person + Whole Brain Thinking.
  • Exercise: 36 Shots! Take pictures of one subject 36 different ways.

INSPIRATION FINDING: CRAFTING THE INNOVATION OBJECTIVE

  • Framing Innovation Objectives
  • Processing the 36 Shots Exercise
  • Discussion of the 1st stage of the Creative Process

2:00 to 3:00
Group work: REFRAME!
The participants will be tasked to create new creative concepts by choosing one industry to disrupt. They will generate creative ideas by reframing.

3:00 to 4:00
Presentations

4:00 to 5:00
Discussion of take-home homework: My Creative Concept Part 1
The participants will apply the lessons they learned on a field of interest. They will spend the week interviewing a few people found in their chosen field. They will then generate a couple of innovation objectives.
